About

Why More Than Days exists

Our philosophy

Many recovery tools understandably focus on one important number: how long someone has been in recovery.

But life after substance use is bigger than a counter.

Relationships. Trust. Health. Routine. Purpose. Stability. Finances. Connection. Recovery can open the door, but life afterward still has to be built in ways that are personal and rarely linear.

More Than Days was created around the belief that recovery is not only about what someone stopped doing. It's also about what they get the opportunity to build next.

Recovery is the starting point.Rebuilding your life is the destination.

Built from lived experience

A note from the founder

I'm the founder of More Than Days, and I'm in recovery myself. I created More Than Days because I understand that getting clean is only part of the journey. Rebuilding your life afterward brings a whole new set of challenges.

I wanted to create something practical that people could turn to between meetings, counselling sessions, and conversations with their support network. More Than Days combines recovery tools, everyday planning, and AI-assisted support to help people navigate those challenges.

It's not about replacing human connection. It's about making sure people have another tool available when they need one. Because recovery isn't just about how many days you've accumulated. It's about what you do with them.

Principles

What we believe

  • Recovery is personal.
  • There is no single path that fits everyone.
  • Support should be easy to reach.
  • Technology should support human relationships, not replace them.
  • Progress is larger than a streak.
  • Privacy matters.
  • Recovery can continue growing long after treatment ends.

More than counting days. Build the life those days are for.
